Help Counselling offers low-cost, short & long-term talking therapies both face-to-face in London and online. Counselling sessions are weekly and start from £25 online and £35 for in-person. Occasionally we may be able to provide concessions depending on your circumstances and our available funding.

Waiting times: we have been working hard to reduce our waiting times and currently you can expect to wait from between 2-4 weeks to start regular online counselling sessions once you have been suitably assessed. Face-to-face waiting times may be longer but we have some slots available – see below for current spaces*.

  • Monday: Wimpole Street & Little Venice early afternoon
  • Wednesday: Morning and afternoon spaces in Fulham & Wimpole Street
  • Friday: Early afternoon at Wimpole Street & Fulham

*Please let us know when you refer if any of these times and locations would be suitable. Availability is subject to change and spaces are only confirmed after a full assessment has been made and our service deemed suitable for your needs.

About Help Counselling

At Help Counselling we have been proudly providing affordable, short and long term counselling to the local community in West London for over 50 years. During this time we have improved thousands of people’s lives, through the provision of talking therapies. At Help we typically support people who present with a range of well-being and mental health concerns including anxiety, stress or depression. As a successful and well-established counselling organisation, our team and trainees will be able to explore with you how we can make a difference to your life through counselling. Unlike some other services, at Help we can often facilitate clients to work long term and allow you the necessary time and space, to work through the issue at hand.

Please note that Help does not offer a crisis service or emergency response and our phone lines and emails are only available within office hours. Unfortunately, Help is not best placed to work with you if you are under the age of 18, have an active addiction or if you are receiving care for a psychiatric condition. If you feel that you are at risk of harm please contact the Samaritans for free 24/7 on 116123 or text SHOUT to 85258 or in an emergency please attend your nearest A&E.
