Coronavirus Information

We are following Government guidance and the advice of Public Health England (PHE) with a mind to maintaining the health of our entire Help community. Regrettably, we have taken the decision to suspend counselling services for the time being and will not be taking any new referrals. At the moment our telephone lines are not currently live and we are not able to check voicemails regularly. Your welfare remains important to us and so if you're experiencing emotional distress, please hang up now and call your GP during surgery hours. If you feel you may have seriously harmed yourself, need urgent medical help or are feeling suicidal please dial 999 for an ambulance or go straight to A&E. Our waiting list is currently closed and we are not taking on new clients, however we will keep you updated here when we are ready to reopen. If you are in need of support right away, you can call Samaritans' free 24 hour helpline on 116 123 or contact Mind Infoline on 0300 123 3393, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm, excluding Bank Holidays. Alternatively, you can email Headstrong Counselling via their website to arrange a counselling assessment. In the meantime, we wish you good health and emotional wellbeing. Warm wishes from all of us at Help.
